Purpose:
To review lack of reporting of sexual harassment in the Department of Defense due to fear of retaliation. Additionally, the hearing provides a public forum to hear the results of the FORSCOM IG review of Fort Hood’s Sexual Harassment/Assault Response Program in light of the hundreds of servicemembers who publicly shared their experience with sexual assault and harassment on social media in solidarity with the SPC Guillen case.

The subcommittee will meet to receive testimony from the Chairmen and Commissioners of the Cyberspace Solarium Commission to review the recommendations presented in the March 2020 Cyberspace Solarium Commission report.
