Purpose:
To review lack of reporting of sexual harassment in the Department of Defense due to fear of retaliation. Additionally, the hearing provides a public forum to hear the results of the FORSCOM IG review of Fort Hood’s Sexual Harassment/Assault Response Program in light of the hundreds of servicemembers who publicly shared their experience with sexual assault and harassment on social media in solidarity with the SPC Guillen case.
