HASC Chairman to Discuss Future of U.S. Military’s Force Posture at the American Enterprise Institute
WASHINGTON, D.C. – On Thursday, March 3, Representative Adam Smith (D-Wash.), Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, will speak at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI) about the future of America’s national security priorities and the U.S. military’s force posture.
Following his opening remarks, Rep. Smith will then join AEI experts Kori Schake and Mackenzie Eaglen for a conversation about the latest developments in the crisis caused by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, how the Biden-Harris administration has approached this and other national security challenges facing the United States, and the importance of a balanced U.S. approach in a changing security environment.
