WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Armed Services Committee Majority Staff will host a background briefing tomorrow – Thursday, August 26 – ahead of the full committee markup of H.R. 4350, the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2022. This briefing will cover topics in the Chairman’s Mark, outline funding tables, and give members of the press the opportunity to learn more about the provisions in the bill before the text becomes publicly available.  
 
The background briefing is off-camera, open to Capitol Hill credentialed media only, and will last approximately 45 minutes.  
 
NOTE: All subject matter discussed during this briefing will be under embargo until Monday, August 30 at 10:00 a.m. ET, at which time the Chairman’s Mark will be publicly released.
