Subcommittee on Readiness Hearing: “Investing in an Organic Industrial Base to Support Service Modernization Plans”

Purpose: The subcommittee will receive testimony from representatives of each of the services to discuss investments in the organic industrial base (OIB) to support service modernization plans. This hearing would address multiple issues related to the OIB, including workload planning and management, aging capital equipment and infrastructure, COVID impacts, and workforce challenges.
