“The passing of Senator John McCain is a great loss for our country. I cannot overstate the amount of respect I have for his life of dedication to public service, nor how much I enjoyed working with him on the Armed Services Committee. His fight for the people of the United States throughout his entire career, in uniform and out, set an example of fortitude and commitment for all of us.
