Subcommittee on Intelligence and Special Operations Hearing: “SOF Culture and Climate: The Future of the Force”

Purpose: The subcommittee will receive testimony from outside experts on the state of special operations forces (SOF) culture and climate while exploring means to shape the force for future demands of great power competition. The subcommittee will consider the impacts of historic operational tempo and diversity challenges while focusing on three critical themes: the current state of the force following two decades of countering terrorism, the comprehensive health of the force, and future opportunities for the force in support of U.S. national security objectives.
